With flashing lights, blinking eyes, and grunting speech, Spike is sure to please your little adventurer as he explores his way through pre-historic worlds. Spike the Ultra Dinosaur is a remote control dinosaur created by Fisher Price as an Imaginext toy.
Spike is controlled by remote control. Big buttons make it easy for kids to make Spike roar, wave his tail, or rear up on his hind legs. For any child ready for adventure, Spike the Dinosaur is ready to become a great dino-friend for any child who is ready for adventure.
Spike the Dinosaur Moves
Spike walks at your command. Move him forward, left or right — whatever you want him to do, you’re in complete control. He’ll even swing his neck around — just press the buttons on the remote control device for fun, dino-action.
You can make him open his mouth or stand up on his hind legs to throw a boulder.
It takes a little practice to master his movements, but taming the movements of this wild beast are all part of the fun for your child.
Different buttons control different aspects of Spike the Ultra Dinosaur’s behavior. Multiple presses of the control buttons give the appearance of a playful pet dinosaur showing off for his owner. Carefully combined movements allow the dinosaur to pick up plastic boulders and toss them into the air. One “surprise” button randomly commands Spike to take an action.
Sights and Sounds of Spike the Ultra Dinosaur
Spike has bright green textured skin with a yellow underbelly. He’s got a series of spiny spikes that light up, and his gnarly teeth make spike the scariest looking dino-sensation to walk the floor this Christmas season.
Spike can growl, roar, and snort. An audio mode button lets you alternatively choose continuous background music as Spike moves through his environment.
Construction
Spike is a plasic dinosaur with internal components that make him move. His construction is sturdy and should hold up under vigorous use, but kids should avoid being overly rough. He’s large enough to use outdoors, but be sure your kids avoid wet places and puddles. His electrical components could easily be damaged by excess moisture.
Every young dinosaur enthusiast will surely be pleased with a growling roaming dino-friend like Spike the Ultra Dinosaur.
